I have over 40 years of teaching experience (preschool elementary, middle school, college and teacher in-service instruction), with an emphasis in mathematics instruction. But I also can help with writing skills, research ideas, science and social studies curriculum.
I love teaching and with the advent of Covid 19, I saw a need for parents and students to have some back up!
ABOUT ME:
My education and training began with a BA Education from UNR "72 ,followed with PBS Mathline National Participant, Equals Family Math Trainer of Trainers, Nevada Math Facilatator Academy, National Council Teacher of Mathematics Presenter, and Recipient of Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching "06. I have taught as one student remarked, "more years than my mother's age". Since my retirement from Spring Creek Middle School, I stayed involved with subbing locally and also did PBS presentations in STEAM activities in third and fourth grades in Elko County for the past three years.

There is no minimum amount of times to use my help, One hour sessions are $15.00 to be paid in advance with Zelle or Venmo or FB. If you bundle 4 lessons, there is a discount of $10.00 for a reduced price of $50.00, to be paid in advance, non refundable.
All my website links are for you to use for no fees. I maintain them for your use. Some sites may have glitches if you don't have the latest java installed.
My biggest goal is that I am viewed as a resource for you, I am willing to give extra time and energy if it makes a difference to the success of your students by contacting their teacher too. We need to help one another make frustrations go away. I want to make their learning better, and celebrate the improvements in the students' and parents' ability to navigate this time of distance education.

I can do Zoom or Skype lessons with students, either alone or with the parents. I am able to help guide homework too....and have a great connection with several local teachers.
